Three Gorges Dam, becomes a reality after nearly 100 years of planning. Earlier this month the cofferdams designed to temporarily hold back the rising waters of the Yangtse River were removed and China's greatest engineering feat, Three Gorges Dam, cut the heart of the dragon.
